This doesn't look like how zip cuts normally fail, and I think the half that's left in the grinder would have been launched too. It looks somebody put a zip cut on the corner of a table, broke it in half in a straight line, then put one half in a grinder.
Don't get me wrong, that giving new guys "the talk" is one of the first thin "Pin It")

Don't get me wrong, that giving new guys "the talk" is one of the first things I do. You need to give new people a respect for the tools and the machinery. But I think this might have been a staged safety demonstration.

I agree with the staged concept. also face shields are not safety glasses
Never try to tell me it can't be done
When I have to paint I use KBS products
