    I cook and clean, but I just wipe potatoes, cut off rot and then cook them in their skins.

    Removing the skin of a potato removes most of the nutrients. Just wash them Use a kitchen scrubby or your bare hands to wipe away any of the eyes and cut away any scars or rot
