DESCRIPTION:
Homemade belt sander sharpening system for chisels and gouges. Constructed by mounting an 1"x30" belt sander on a plywood enclosure to allow for angle adjustments and orient belt rotation away from the user.

Thanks for featuring my sander/sharpener. I was inspired to build it after reading a couple of "experts" opinion on how much safer a belt is than a grinding wheel. I've been using this for quite some time and by flipping the box over can still use the table for sanding purposes!
