DESCRIPTION:
Homemade bending press brake capable of handling sheet metal up to 17 inches in width. Principally fabricated from cold rolled steel and featuring auto-adjustability for material thickness.

Actually this is a Finger Brake, or unslotted an Apron Brake. Bends occur with movement of a hinged panel under material being bent. Press Brakes induce the effect by a descending pointed Vee into a open Vee die. They can bottom out for sharp corners, or create nicely round corners when punch and die combination form an angle but not bottomed out, aka Air Bend.
The brake shown has some advantages over the lightweight versions sold by importers; without satisfaction of "I Made It".
