I do not recommend this as the stand could easily slip dropping the car to the floor. Jack stands are designed and built to operate in a vertical fashion.

Incredibly BAD idea. The downward force will always be vertical, and putting the stand on an angle moves the load bearing point to the edge from centre top. Same as using a stand on uneven ground. DON'T do this as the stand can topple over.
