Good use of the old table slides! I too have an old table with slides hanging around. Might be a good use for it. I saw a nice drill table hack recently that might interest you. You make your MDF top out of three pieces and put your T-tracks in the outside pieces. The middle piece is then a sacrificial backstop that can be replaced when it gets too beat up. Nice work!
