Homemade hydraulic press fabricated from steel and equipped with two 3000 PSI cylinders. Two-stage 22/7 GPM 3000 PSI pump is driven by a 14 HP engine.

Seems like a lot of work for 37 - 40 ton of pressure. Why do you need that much travel? I would cut the travel with a lever and multiply the pressure. At least that is my current thought. I have a press burning in the back of my mind. I "think" I only need 1" of travel, of course that depends on your dies but hey so far it is just a thought. You have something that is real.
