Homemade shop press fabricated from C-channel, angle iron, aluminum, brass, and steel. Powered by a 20-ton bottle jack. Equipped with an overflow tank and an oil level indicator.

Nice project, I have made all sorts of things I don't really need including a press. My jack is the "right way round". After seeing yours I would love to re mount it like yours, but don't fully understand what you did. Is the jack body totally full of oil right up to the reservoir?
