DESCRIPTION:
Homemade sprocket fix intended as a reconditioning measure for worn bulldozer sprockets. Utilizes welded pipe halves to restore the correct tooth profile.

I think this is a great idea. Maybe your doing a job that needs to be done right now. This repair will get you back in business while you order a new sprocket or whatever repair kit to last for many years.How many years of use will it last like this?. I would say quite a few but I'm no equipment guy. Mr Mikey.

Making this kind of repair with pipe is a temporary fix. Similar to putting a band aid on an ax wound.

Using a piece of pipe like they did here is liken to putting a bandaid on an ax wound. see: SprocketLiners.com for the correct fix
