DESCRIPTION:
Homemade welding positioner constructed from repurposed treadmill drive and screw motors, a surplus chuck, and electronic components. Speed range is from 268 seconds per revolution to 4 rpm.

As welding positioners go, this is absolutely nuts! Terrific work on the electronic side of things to get it to rotate really slowly.
