DESCRIPTION:
Homemade wooden drum sander capable of accommodating workpieces of up to 6" in thickness. Drum was fabricated from a stack of plywood discs and turned round on a lathe. Sanding drum utilizes Velcro-backed sandpaper. A wood screw serves to adjust table height.

OK...beauty is in the eye of the beholder as they say.  Not statuesque, but beautiful on the inside where it counts.  Amazing craftsmanship.  Very impressive.  Very practical solution to a problem.
