DESCRIPTION:
Homemade diesel injector pop tester intended as an aid to determination of adequate injector spray pressure. Bottle jack and grease gun-type designs, gauge sizing, and fittings are detailed.

what a great idea using a hydraulic bottle jack, but i would highly discourage anyone who makes a tool like this to not use diesel fuel. a bottle jack can develop pressures up to 10,000 psi very quickly. i recommend using a 50/50 glycerin/water based fluid. pressures 500psi and above can cause diesel or any combustible liquid to explode or ignite. if you must use it try adding a relief valve circuit back into the reservoir. just a thought....
