THIS WORKSAT PRESSURES OF 100PSI THE CAN SHOULD HAVE NO PRESS IN IT A ONE SECOND SPRITZ OF AIR IS ALL THATS NEEDED. IF THE CAN NEEDS A SECOND SHOT, GIVE IT ONE LATER. ITS NOT INTENDED FOR CANS WITH PRESSURE IN THEM. IF YOU CAN SQUEEZE THE CAN SIDES AND THEY DEPRESS, THIS WILL WORK.COMPRESSOR SHOULD NOT BE RUNNING SO U ''CAN'' HEAR .AIR FLOW INTO THE CAN. TEST AFTER EACH TRY. WHEN YOU GET SPRAY, CEASE TRYING.USE CAN, REFILL AFTER SPRAY STOPS. VERY EASY AND QUICK, JUST DONT OVERDO!

Be aware that WD-40 can be bought in a one gallon container allowing small amounts to be dispensed in older style oil cans, or into small portion canisters for brushing on. One galls approximately $18 USD at Lowe's Buying in one gallon size drops price to $0.07 an ounce compared to almost $0.50 an once for the larger aerosol.
